Bags of leftover candy
I've lived in the same apartment for four Halloweens now. I'm not always there on Halloween night, but so far, every time I've been home I've been without candy. I turn out my lights and hide from children. Realizing this was pathetic, I bought two bags this year. And nobody came. I have nearly full bags of Kit Kats and Milky Ways in my freezer. Now I have to hide from my candy.
